Anahata Breath presents

Breathwork Facilitator Training

Feb 14th – Mar 15th, 2026

Arambol, North Goa

A trauma-informed, month-long immersion to become a certified breathwork facilitator

Close Your Eyes

Close your eyes for a moment...

Warm sunlight filters through palm leaves as the ocean breeze drifts across the rooftop. You guide their breath — steady, grounded — your voice rising and falling like the tide.

Around you, bodies tremble, soften, release. The scent of salt and incense lingers in the air; a drumbeat anchors the space. Someone laughs through tears. Another whispers thank you.

In that still moment after the session, heart full and hands tingling, you realize — you're holding the safe space you once sought.

Watch: A glimpse into our Breathwork Facilitator Training experience

The Training

A Training Beyond Breathwork

This month-long training goes much deeper than just learning breathing techniques. It is a trauma-informed facilitator training, combining breathwork with psychology, inner child work, trauma awareness, and safe facilitation practices.

You will not only learn how to guide others, but also to embody the practices yourself. The first part of the training emphasizes self-practice, because we believe that the best facilitators are first and foremost grounded practitioners.

What Will I Learn?

Core Areas of Training

Breathwork Mastery

From long journeys to shorter practices such as Pranayama, Wim Hof, functional breathing, and other techniques.

Trauma-Informed Facilitation

Understanding trauma, working with beliefs and behaviors, inner child and parts work, and guiding people safely.

Breath Physiology & Psychology

The science and subtle dynamics behind breathwork and how it affects the mind body connection.

Specialized Practices

Cold Exposure (Ice Baths)

How to facilitate safe, integrative cold immersion experiences beyond 'shock value.'

Vocal Guidance & Bodywork

Using language, voice, touch, and presence to support deep transformation — from spontaneous guidance to scripted journeys.

Integration Practices

Learning how to help participants translate powerful subconscious or even psychedelic-like experiences into visible shifts in everyday life.

Special Option

The 2-Week

Immersion

Alongside the full facilitator training, the first 2 weeks can be joined independently as a complete, trauma-aware self-work experience held during the first phase of the training.

This immersion is especially suited for facilitators, teachers, yoga teachers, coaches, bodyworkers, and space holders who want to deepen their relationship with breathwork while developing greater awareness of trauma and nervous system responses.

Over 2 weeks, you'll experience guided breathwork and embodied practices that support regulation, grounding, and safety in the body, alongside foundational trauma education. The focus is on felt-work, understanding and ethical presence, not on healing or treating trauma.

You are held in the same trauma-aware container and guided by the same facilitators as the full training, without certification or facilitation responsibility.

Note: This option does not include certification or Breathwork facilitation training.

Student Stories

What Our Students
Have to Say

Our alumni are facilitating breathwork around the world. Here's what they have to say about their training experience.

“This training has been an incredible journey of learning and growth. I gained a deep understanding of trauma-informed breathwork, and Hanu and Dhanishtaa provided us with structured and practical knowledge about this method. I see it as a powerful tool to integrate into my sessions, combining breathwork, bodywork, and trauma-informed practices in a way that feels truly effective.

Being part of this training is a meaningful step on this path. The space we created together was supportive and filled with care. It was an intense program, but I didn’t want it to end.

I’m grateful for the experience, the teachings, and the people I shared it with. Thank you for this amazing journey 😻”

“The knowledge was very wide and complex, thank you for sharing such valuable knowledge with us, which can be used in creative ways, and for your full presence. I enjoyed a lot the energy that we all have created during the course, the dedication that you have shared, and the openness. It was wonderful to create such a space where we were able to bring our own personal touch, and learn so much about ourselves firstly, and about the skills that we need to fully be present and find the courage within us to hold space for a larger group of people.”

Dr. Hanuman isn't your average breathwork and plant medicine guide. Think of them as a breath-fueled explorer with a PhD in particle physics who took a sharp turn into the wild, wonderful world of healing. Hanuman mixes science and spirituality, blending Yoga, Tantra, Buddhism, psychology, and shamanism into a powerful recipe for deep healing and transformation.

They've trained all over the globe, from the peaceful halls of Bihar School of Yoga to the serene Kopan Monastery, picking up wisdom (and some seriously cool stories) from legends like Wim Hof, Brian Kelly, and Mike O'Meara. 6 years in India honing their craft means they know how to guide you through deep, transformational journeys with compassion and authenticity.

Get ready for a healing experience that's as profound as it is playful!
